New REAL STEEL Poster Arrives
Lead star Hugh Jackman and one of those futuristic boxing robots play center stage in this latest poster for Shawn Levy's Real Steel. Check it out below along with the previouslyreleased full trailer. The action film stars Jackman, Evangeline Lilly, Dakota Goyo, Anthony Mackie and Kevin Durand. Helmer Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum series) led the direction, based on a script by John Gatins.
Plot Concept: A gritty, whiteknuckle, action ride set in the nearfuture, where the sport of boxing has gone hitech, "Real Steel" stars Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kenton, a washedup fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000pound, 8foottall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a smalltime promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together lowend bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, noholdsbarred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.
